Kelly Lindsey has been in the emergency services since 2008. A Georgie native, she came to North Carolina to attend Elon University where she graduated with a degree in Mathematics. She first joined the fire department on a dare and, after the first night of training, she was hooked. Kelly is currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Raleigh where she works to increase Raleigh’s preparedness by coordinating disaster planning efforts throughout the City. She spends her free time pursuing her masters from NC State University, training her dogs, and enjoying the company of friends and family. Kelly has been a certified peer counselor since 2015 and is passionate about serving and supporting her brothers and sisters in the fire service in any capacity she can.
