Dr. Lawrence Greenberg

Dr. Greenberg earned his BS Magna cum Laude from The City College of New York with Honors in Chemistry and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY. He finished his Residency in Psychiatry as Chief Resident and completed his Fellowship in Biological Psychiatry at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Dr. Greenberg’s work history includes serving as Medical Director at South Oaks Hospital in NY, Chief of Psychiatry at the Northport VA Medical Center, and Vice Chairman for VA Affairs at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Most recently he has been the managing partner for the Cary office of Carolina Partners in Mental Health.

Dr. Greenberg participated in establishing a dedicated PTSD treatment program at the Northport VAMC and was a clinician for the NYC Police Department Peer Support  Program (POPPA). During his 30+ years of experience, he has also participated in several publications including a chapter in the book “Pharmacology of Therapeutic Agents Used in Anesthesia: An Introduction.” Dr Greenberg is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member the American College of Physician Executives.
